Kids’ Farm: Groundbreaking for the Outdoor Garden
March 14 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
This event is currently sold out, but we do have a wait list in case people cancel. Click here to add yourself, then check out our other upcoming kids’ events.
Get your hands dirty as we welcome spring by breaking ground on the Kids’ Farm outdoor garden. Depending on how much the soil has thawed, we’ll either be turning and preparing the earth or doing some planting. Even the smallest farmhands will have fun and important jobs to do. Be part of the first step of readying our community garden for the coming year, then watch it grow all summer long.
The Kids’ Farm at Eastman’s Corner is a safe and welcoming space for all kids. Come meet new friends in your neighborhood – we’ll make sure our visit starts off with greetings and games to get to know each other. Children or their grown-up friends who have difficulty walking can still access our greenhouse and garden. Just contact us with any questions or special needs.
These events are free but space is limited. Please register to hold your spot.
