This event is SOLD OUT. Celebrate the rare fun of February's 29th day with a morning of leaping activities in our Kids' Farm greenhouse classroom. Farmer Lis will lead jump rope games, leap frog, and other fun activities designed to get our feet up off of the ground.
The Farm regularly hosts activities and classes where families can have fun while learning about sustainable food and agriculture. Due to COVID-19, our event series are currently on hold.

Eat local in style as our award-winning Farm to Table Dinner series relaunches for 2020 on February 29th. This four-course dinner with wine pairings is served at Alnoba, a landmark sustainable conference center located just up the road from The Farm. Featuring locally-sourced ingredients like lamb, scallops, and fresh produce from The Farm's greenhouses. Tickets $85, includes tax and gratuity.
CANCELLED. It's planting time at the Kids' Farm outdoor garden! Join us for a hands-on morning of farming fun as we get our spring seeds and seedlings into the ground. Kids of all ages will be welcome to dig, touch, plant and play. Learn how tiny seeds turn into the delicious vegetables, greens and herbs we enjoy on our tables.
CANCELLED. Join Farmer Lis to learn some of the sillier facts about chickens. We’ll spend some time inside our “Cluckingham Palace” chicken coop meeting the hens and help out with some chicken-caring chores. Learn the silly quirks of our favorite “Palace” residents and ask your questions about what makes chickens tick (or cluck).
CANCELLED. This hands-on edition of our Meet the Farmer class will see kids and their caregivers help us set up our brand new incubator. We’ll get a crate ready to house our baby chicks after they hatch, set up their baby crate and heat source, place eggs in the incubator, and learn all about what’s involved with taking care of baby birds. Kids will also get to lend a hand with some animal chores at The Farm.
