Make yourself at home!
This January, The Farm at Eastman’s Corner opened Angela’s Café, a community gathering place on our second floor. But don’t let the name evoke visions of a localvore Starbucks.
Angela’s Café is something different.
It’s a laid-back spot where you can relax in a comfortable chair, browsing through a library of books on farming and sustainable living. It’s a place to get together with your neighbors over a cup of locally-roasted coffee, or get some work done while enjoying a warm bowl of soup made with fresh local produce.
Think of it as an extension of your living room. We offer:
The Café is open whenever we are, and to help you feel even more at home, we’ve made a menu to guide you to all the ready-to-eat meals, snacks, and beverages available at the store downstairs. Use the free WiFi network. Bring the kids. Make a new friend.
And if the weather’s too great to stay inside, we extend the same invitation to use our front porch, lawn and pavilion. Have a local-foods picnic and enjoy some fresh air. See which of your neighbors stop by.
